Quilled Buttercups!

Hello all,

This time I am going to show you all three dimensional quilling work, which I was talking about in my last post! 3D quilling is nothing but giving the third dimension to the otherwise two dimensional quilling works.

This year I have witnessed beautiful Spring in its glory. So many colorful flowers every where and have captured all of them to have reference for my future works. The fun part is, adding a name to those flowers with Google image search!

So today's flower is from Buttercup family and is called Lesser Celandine. They are yellow little shiny beautiful flowers. Have tried quilling these beauties with 1 mm hand cut paper strips. Did some water coloring and used  fringed and curled paper strips for the center!
Isn't it beautiful against the green background

For size reference!
The original and the quilled !
Leaves were trickier. Had to cut the shapes, bit of water coloring, scoring, drawing and some curling to get this output and I am totally happy the way they turned out!

Assembled and ready to be framed
Framed along with colored spirals on black background!
Let me know what you think of this one!

Cheers,
Vinee
